Unknown Origins: The Secret Life of Cancer

Microscopic images of cancer cells will take center stage at the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, Gaylord-Pickens Museum art gallery. Gayle L. Curry presents “Unknown Origins: The Secret Life of Cancer” exhibit on October 4th, 2018 through February 9, 2019. The opening reception is Thursday, October 4th at 5:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m. The museum is located at 1400 Classen Drive in Oklahoma City. It is free and open to the public.

Cancer cells aren’t usually considered things of beauty, but in the artistic hands of Gayle L. Curry, that’s exactly what they’ve become. Gayle explores the microscopic images of cancer cells as a way to process this ugly disease. Whether a survivor, caregiver, or just someone that has been touched by cancer, we are all looking for meaning, and a way to process the pain and suffering so it can lead to empowerment and healing.
