I can’t believe I leave next Sunday to go to this amazing Art Residency! I am 100% funded and that was because of all of you wonderful people. I’m so blessed and touched that you would do this for me. Thank you.
So I’ve spent this week making list, organizing supplies, packing and taking care of all those things you take care of before you leave town. I’m so excited and can’t wait to start this new adventure. If you didn’t know, I will be driving there and will be trying to fit everything in my car. If you know me, I’m a bit of an over-packer, so it will be interesting to see if it all fits. Pictures to come!
If your not following me on any of my social media, I will be posting regularly thru them all. That in it’s self is a daunting task! So select your poison and stay tuned for the next chapter!
I’ve made it! I’m over 100% funded with a little extra to boot. Thank you so much for getting me there. It wouldn’t have happened if it weren’t for every single one of you! Please check out my wonderful donors below.
Now I have the daunting task of creating what I said I would. I’m looking forward to it, but I have to tell you it’s a little bit scary and a whole lot exciting.
So I hope you will continue to follow my progress. This residency is going to give me that extra help to get started and focus on such a large project.
You can follow me on my Blog, E-Mail, Facebook and Twitter. So depending on how you like to get your news, select any of the above.
Here I come Wyoming!
If you haven’t become part of my Kickstarter campaign, you still can and I have some cool giveaways for you. So check them out.

As you know, my passion is the arts and in my working studio and school (Paseo School of Art), I ardently pursue teaching and creating. A new project I am working on is a large encaustic, mixed media installation. A requirement to take on a project of this size is to have the time, resources and support. Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts is providing these supports by awarding me an Art Residency near Saratoga, WY.
What this entails is a month-long residency where they provide the accommodations, food and studio space to work. This residency starts August 10 and goes thru September 4th and I need your help.
I’ve started a Kickstarter Campaign to help fund a portion of the cost. This would allow me to purchase art supplies, help fund the travel, as well as a portion of my food and living expenses. I have less than 30 days to fund it, so I would appreciate you taking a look at my project and supporting me anyway you can. I have some pretty cool giveaways; so help a girl out with her dream. Be a backer!

Last week I announced my Kickstarter campaign and I am already over 50% funded! Wow! I want to send a great big Thank You to all my Funders below. I can’t tell you enough how much this means to me to have friends, family, acquaintance and even strangers willing to give money to see me succeed. You are all amazing people. Saying “Thank You” seems so small, but here it is again, Thank You!
Even though I am 50% funded, I still need your help to get to 100%. With Kickstarter it’s an all or nothing campaign. If I don’t make my goal, I don’t get any of the pledges. So if you’ve been waiting to donate, please go ahead and do so, it’s better to make my goal early than to get there late.

I have been accepted into the Brush Creek Arts Residency program in Sarasota, illness WY. This residency is a great opportunity to further my art career, and painting and artistic skills.
Brush Creek Arts Foundation is providing one of these supports. What this entails is a month-long residency where they provide the accommodations, pilule some meals and studio space to work on my project. To help offset some of the cost and fund travel and supplies I have started a Kickstarter Campaign. I would so appreciate it if you would take a look at it and hopefully help fund it.
